Cindy Putnam

Cindy Putnam has been in education since 1979. She has taught all elementary grades (except First).  She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Memphis and recently completed hours at Union University for School Library Media Specialist certification.  Cindy has served as the Area 2 Ed Tech Specialist since 2004. 

Cindy loves Digital Photography (and her cool new camera!) and is learning as much as she can from Scott Holcomb, our resident expert.  In her free time, she loves to read and is trying to get some exercise this summer by biking and swimming.  Cindy is a blog enthusiast (see link below).  She loves Scrabble, dachshunds, Mandy Patinkin (a la Yentl and The Princess Bride), cheesecake, the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and SMART Boards  Her favorite movie is Fly Away Home.  She especially enjoys asking Jason and Scott questions, whose standard answer seems to be: "Ask Google before me!"

Cindy has two sons, ages 12 and 20.  She also has a lovely white cat, Maggie May, who meows WAY too much and is driving the family crazy.  Maybe Maggie needs a new home...any takers???
